It’s a little weird to write about today now, I am now on day 5 and it still isn’t over, but I can tell you what happened and what’s about to happen this evening.
As always I started my day with my new favorite smoothie – banana, orange, frozen berries and water.
It was a grey morning and I again didn’t quite make it to wake up at 7.30 am. Well I woke up at 8.45 pm. Now since it’s very cold these days I’m craving more and more hot drinks like my arch enemy coffee. Coffee, you’re the devil in disguise. I saw one woman holding a cup of take away coffee today and I was looking at her coffee like a dog is looking at a treat. Like with my tongue out, drooling, big wet non blinking eyes…Yeah, that was me. Woof. Still, I haven’t bought coffee and soon it will be 1 month!!! A non-coffee-anniversary!
Yesterday in the evening as I opened my fridge desperately looking for something to fill the emptiness that coffee left inside of me (without much luck – it was almost empty) I saw that I had some broccoli headed in the wrong life direction. Yes, sadly almost molding. To save the broccoli, and since I already had my 2 vegan days this week I decided like Demi Lovato to let it go and just make this incredibly tasting whole grain pasta with salmon, créme fraíche (pronounce: in a snobby way), broccoli and many other great ingredients, that I’ll share in the recipe these days. No matter how many calories it takes.Yes I had planed this for quite a while now. A whole night. A whole night of tossing and turning and trying to escape from this pasta. So creamy and so dreamy. And then after my smoothie in the morning I decided to YOLO whatever it means and to make my dream come true – 4 hours later I was eating this pasta. And since it’s pretty creamy and not much on the light side I did not have anything but the smoothie before and just now one smoothie after that. But I’m pretty full. I’m full in my belly, but most importantly I’m full in my heart. And I think that’s enough for today.
Now I’m heading to my Zumba class where I’ll be (as announced in the previous post) just chilling in the corner of the studio, looking at whoever makes mistakes, point my finger at that person and laugh. Yes. That’s how I do a Zumba class. No I’ll probably just try to do all the moves, make a few mistakes, trip a little, sweat here and there and then it’s over. Eaaasy. And then I won’t eat anything, because it will be after 8pm. How exciting! But I’ll try to finish some of the recipes and upload them here. So I also have something to look forward to, besides the shower, massaging pillow, my warm pyjama and some episodes of The Mindy Project. Winter – you suck!
