Take a break from watching the news or Netflix and invest in yourself! These are, in my opinion, the best TED talks that can change your life and the way you think.
I’m definitely going through all the stages now. First, it was whining, now it’s looking for inspiration and opportunities and making the best out of the current situation in the world. Wonder what’s coming up next on this journey, which hopefully won’t last too long for all of us.
The time now is perfect to take a look at our lives and see what areas we want and need to improve in order to be happier, more fulfilled humans. It’s a great time to grow ourselves, to actually think on our own, problem-solve and learn from others too.
I don’t know if I’ve ever mentioned this, but I love watching TED talks while I’m cooking, cleaning or making my coffee. However, I’ve got to say, TED talks are a hit or miss. One time you spend 10 minutes that truly change the way you think, other times by the end of that speech, you realize you haven’t learned anything and have just wasted your time. This one is making the rounds now on Youtube thanks to their evil algorithm that aims to keep us on the platform for many many years. I watched it. Of course, I watched it. Didn’t inspire me, just made me wonder whether Bill Gates is a really good psychic. Genius? Or just a psychic? I guess we’ll never know. He did make some great points though and was, of course, absolutely right.
But currently, I’m more interested in things that make me more proactive, than reactive, so I’ve been rewatching some of my favorite TED talks and I want to share them with you. If you’re wanting to take a break from the news and Netflix, these are great to start with.

The one by Amy Cuddy is excellent! Learned so much about the power of body language. If you will, I’d like to add one more to this amazing list. GRIT by Angela Duckworth. One of my favorite TED talks of all time 🙂
Thank you for the list, for me “TRUST YOUR STRUGGLE” is my favorite.
I believe that one of the most important things in life is to trust your struggle and have the courage to face it. No one said that life was easy, and there will be times when you will struggle. But it is important to remember that you are not alone in your struggle. There will be times when you feel like you can’t make it through, but you have to have faith in yourself and your ability to overcome.
The most important thing is to never give up on yourself. You might not be able to see it now, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Trust your struggle, and have the courage to face it head on. You can do it!
