I can’t believe that my 12 habits in 21 days mission is almost over. Today is the last day and I’ll try to keep it together, since I’ve been a little off the wagon the last few days. And it all started so good on day 17 with this green smoothie.True it did not smell like something you’d like to drink (thank you savoy cabbage!), but it’s highly alkaline because of the lemon, apple, cabbage and spinach and is good for a little detoxification, if you want one. I had 3 of it throughout the morning and came to lunch without a solid breakfast.
Lunch was this delicious wrap with chickpea, roasted vegetables and some of my avocado dip. I forgot to mention – I used the avocado dip also as a beauty mask on my face one time for 10 minutes. It felt so refreshing and after washing it away my skin was a lot softer and felt really hydrated without any cream on it. But because I’m a little stingy when it comes to this dip, I did not put a lot of it on my face, just a small tea spoon. Stela doesn’t share food!!! Even if it’s with her face.
By the way I broke the no seconds rule and had a second wrap at lunch. And I would without a shadow of a doubt do it again, but this wrap is long gone.
After lunch as always I wanted something sweet, but no oat cake was on the horizon, so I made an oat-carrot cake and topped it with almond cream, that I made myself. It was just right – not too sweet, but sweet enough.
After all that sweetness I went to the gym for a 30 minutes HIIT workout and an 1 hour pilates class. Funny how I’ve always found pilates kinda boring – they make you breath like Darth Vader, you’re not allowed to make fun of that, and on top you are supposed to be as slow as a slug. But I can tell you as soon as I got over the whole breath in breath out thing I found out these exercises are no joke and are quite effective.
And yes, the leftover sushi was my dinner after the exhausting workout. I ate it exactly until 8 pm, so practically I did not break the no-eating-after-8-rule, but it was quite racy. Challenge: Stuff 8 sushis in your face in 3 minutes. And I won that challenge.
So yeah, that was day 17 – it is for me quite a perfect day – food-and-exercise-wise. And all the next days were quite a disappointment, but hey, everyone needs to live a little.
