Easy Stir-Fried Broccoli Recipe

My goal for a while now has been to eat more vegetables, specifically cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, because I want to be healthy. But they have to be prepared right! I don’t like them soggy or too raw. I found the sweet spot with this simple 5-minute easy stir-fried broccoli recipe. So, this is how to cook broccoli in my opinion, you can then use them as a healthy side or in bowls, or dip them in garlic sauce. Whatever you want.

Most of the beneficial compounds are still in there. And they’re still crunchy, but not in a raw way and they have a nice char(m), which I love. So, if you want to eat more broccoli or you bought some and don’t know what to make with them – this is the broccoli recipe you need.

Serve with chicken, fish, hummus, rice, falafels, add to salads, wraps, bowls (at this point, I feel like I’m just naming random foods) or dip in your favorite dips (they’re a much better dip transporter than chips!). But yes, this easy stir-fried broccoli recipe will do well with almost everything!

Easy Sauteed Broccoli Ingredients

  • Broccoli florets. Make sure to use fresh broccoli and not frozen – this recipe won’t work!
  • Garlic. You can’t have broccoli without garlic.
  • Olive oil. You can also use any other type of oil you like. I like olive oil and yes, you can use it to stir-fry food, especially when you only do it for 2-3 minutes like here.
  • Crushed red pepper – this is optional if you like a little bit of spice.
  • Salt and pepper.
