Wake up a little earlier tomorrow and start your day with one of these amazing 10-minute morning workouts to feel happier, healthier and more alive! We’ve got some yoga, we’ve got some full-body routines, toning sessions, cardio and dance exercises and you can do everything at home or wherever you want.
I know working out when you’re busy (or don’t feeling like it) is hard. I know all about it. I wrote the book with all the complaints and excuses. I was just too lazy to publish it.
Over the years I have tried to compress my workouts, so that they take less and less time.
First it went from 1 hour to 45 minutes, then to 30 min, then to 20 and now here I am sharing a list with 10-minute workouts I have all tried (repeatedly) over the last years.
Right now I am trying to get back to my 30-40 min workout mode, so consider this my “10-min at home workout little black book”-gift to you. Enjoy every minute of it.
About This Workout List
Almost all of these are full-body YouTube workouts and will help you stay in shape and be more positive, even when you don’t have time or are just not feeling like working out at all.
Everyone has 10 minutes in the morning (or the evening) and when a workout is 10min short you might as well do it. Plus you can do it at home, so you don’t need to make the excuse you’re too tired to go to the gym.
You don’t even need to turn on your computer for this – I just play these workouts on my phone.
As I told you, I am a monster in the morning. But after one of these workouts I become a much better person. And everyone around me appreciates it. A lot. Here are some of the benefits of morning exercise

And yes, even 10 minutes count! Now let’s take a look at my favorite 10-minute morning exercise routines that you can do anywhere you want.
1. Yoga Workout For Happiness
This is one of my favorites. True, you may not burn a ton of calories or build “long lean” muscles, but if you’re working out to just start your day in a more positive way and feel happier – this is the perfect way to do it.
2. 10-Minute Energizing Yoga Workout
This workout will stretch you out, energize you and is again great to start your day in a more positive way.

3. Full Body Workout
Okay, so this workout is something between yoga and pilates. It is no stretching and no joke. This is an amazing way to tone up your entire body in just 10 minutes in the morning. If you like pilates, or want to try it – this is the one for you.
4. The Butt-Lifting Workout That’s Better Than Spanx
I have never even tried wearing spanx, but this workout is crazy. It’s not a full-body workout, but your butt and leg muscles are burning. And it’s hard. And it hurts. Plus it doesn’t stooooop. Well it stops in 10 minutes. Short and very effective, make sure you stretch – it’s an awesome workout.
5. 10-Minute Workout: Legs and Arms With Sadie Lincoln
Another one that’s tough in a very very good way. This workout will tone your arms, legs and butt.
6. Victoria’s Secret Model Workout: 10-Minute Fat-Blasting Circuit
Love this workout. In the beginning, it was too hard, so I even had to take breaks (even though it’s only 10min), but it gets better when you do it the second time. I feel this workout mostly in the legs and butt. I didn’t quite look like a Victoria Secret’s Model afterwards, but it’s an amazing workout to tone you up. Seriously if you want to be able to walk the next day, stretch afterwards.

7. The Ultimate Warmup Before Working Out | Class FitSugar
Okay, I know it says a warm up before workout, but for me it’s a workout before I start my day. Whenever I don’t feel like doing ANYTHING, I do this. If you’re a beginner or just looking for a short, easy workout on a day after an intense workout – this one is great. Always makes me feel energized and ready to go.
8. Work Out: Dance to Burn Fat | Danielle Peazer
Okay, so this one is not even 10 min long. It’s 7 minutes. Just 7 minutes to get your heart rate up, get you in a more positive mood and great to not skip your workouts.
9. Tabata Workout to Tone Everything in 10 Minutes | Class FitSugar
This one is a whole body workout and it does tone everything. I didn’t feel to exhausted and the pace wasn’t too quick for me, but this workout is still very effective. Even if you’re just a beginner, you should try it.
10. Quick Sweat Cardio Workout to Lose Weight & Burn Belly Fat Fast
Again: not even 10 minutes, but very intense and effective. You’ll be doing some burpees, be prepared for that.
11. Cardio Fitness Party Workout: Burn to the Beat – Keaira LaShae
Now you can have a little dance party in the morning. This workout is awesome, and I am telling you this, even though I cannot follow steps. Nobody saw, so who cares. It’s an intense workout and they did do some burpees without a warning sign, but I survived them.
12. 10 Minute Cardio Dance Abs Workout: Burn to the Beat – Keaira LaShae
Another dance workout to start your day! Felt like this one was not as intense as the Cardio Fitness Party Workout, but it was still very intense and a lot of fun (I don’t care that I looked very weird. It will get your heart rate up and you’ll be sweating – do it!
13. The Most Effective Tiny Apartment Workout | Class FitSugar
It says a tiny apartment, but even if you live in a mansion, this workout is super effective. In 10 minutes you get to warm up, tone and do some cardio. It’s one of my go-to workouts.
14. 10-Minute Fat Burning Workout | Class FitSugar
Again, love this workout. It’s intense, but in a way that I can actually do it, without feeling sick afterwards. You’ll need some dumbbells for this, but I have even done it without dumbbells. Tones everything and makes you sweat. A lot.
15. Cardio Workout: How to Lose Weight
Last, but not least this very intense cardio workout. You’ll be doing high-knees, jumping jacks, burpees, squat jumps…so what I’m saying is: prepare for sweating and heavy breathing.
I tried to include workouts for all levels. If you’re a beginner and some of these workouts are too intense, go at your own pace and do the modified version (most of these workouts have these).
