This spicy lentil dip can add more flavor to any dinner and it makes it easy to use up leftover lentils.

It was one of those things that happened very spontaneously when I was dealing with some leftover lentils. Yes, I’ve got 99 problems and lentils are among them, sue me.
I didn’t even intend to take a picture or share this dip. But it was so good that I decided to write down the recipe and ever since, I’ve been making this same dip recipe with
So if you don’t have lentils, make this using canned beans, I like both versions.
What you need to definitely do if you’re using the lentils for this recipe is to add salt (if you haven’t added any while cooking them).
Spicy Lentil Dip Recipe

Spicy lentil dip - flavorful, healthy and easy lentil recipe that will make your dinner much better!
Ingredients
- 1 cup lentils, cooked
- handful parsley
- handful basil
- 1 tsp crushed pepper
- 1 small tomato
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- salt + to taste
Instructions
Using a hand blender or your food processor, blend all ingredients until smooth and enjoy with dinner or as a healthy snack with vegetables! It will keep in the fridge for 3 days.
